The construction of the first canopy for the ports of the Far East over the unloading zone of the railway front was made in Spain by the world leader in volumetric metal structures, Gaptek, according to the individual order of Astafiev Terminal. The designers took into account the harsh seaside climatic conditions, so that the structure could withstand both wind and snow loads. Also, the project partners are leaders in the implementation of protected transshipment: Marubeni (Japan) and Schade (Germany).
