The volume of investment in the project will be 490 million rubles

The Astafiev Terminal has been granted the status of a resident of the Freeport of Vladivostok and intends to implement an investment project to establish a Portoflot Management Center in the city of Nakhodka, Primorsky Krai.

The task of the Center is to carry out strategic and operational coordination of the operation of the Astafiev Terminal transshipment complex in Nakhodka Bay and the interaction of sea and rail transport at the Cape Astafieva and Nakhodka-Exportnyi Stations.

As the director of Astafiev Terminal Ruslan Kondratov notes, “The strategic goal of the project is to reduce the infrastructure dependence on the capacity of the railway to increase the speed of exports of coal to the APR countries through the port of Nakhodka in Primorsky Krai.”

The volume of investment in the project will be 490 million rubles. The implementation of the investment project involves the creation of 114 new jobs.

“The creation of new facilities contributes to the development of port infrastructure in the macroregion. The signing of the agreement with the “Astafiev Terminal” confirms the demand for special legal regimes in launching new business projects in the Far East. The Corporation’s task is to ensure the full implementation of all administrative and tax preferences received by the investor within the regime of Vladivostok free port, “says Nikolay Zapryagaev, Director of the Department for Development of TOP and SPV.

The project initiator is the “Aqua-Resources” Group of Companies, which has been one of the leading transport and logistics companies of the Russian Far East for 20 years. The group of companies has its own developed infrastructure. The structure of the holding includes specialized port complexes in the cities of Vladivostok and Nakhodka, a land container terminal in the city of Artem, the airport of small aircraft “Ozernye Klyuchi” in Vladivostok.
